Black Rabbit is accepting submissions until Oct. 1st. For Issue No. 3 we are accepting four pieces, one each of: poetry, fiction, non-representational collage, and sculpture. Please send all submissions to submissions.blackrabbit@gmail.com with the category you are submitting for (fiction, poetry, art) in the subject line. We are happy to be able to pay artists $25 US per accepted piece.

 

Fiction & Poetry

            Submit fiction of no longer than 1,500 words. Submit no more than three poems, altogether at a maximum of five pages. We recommend you look at the fiction and poetry in previous issues of Black Rabbit to get a sense of the kinds of things we’re interested in. We do not accept previously published work, but do accept simultaneous submissions, just be so kind as to notify us if your work gets accepted elsewhere.

 

Visual Art

            We are currently accepting non-representational collage, which we leave it largely up to the artist to define. We are also accepting 3-D artwork. Please send several well-lit photos of your work from various angles.

 

In addition, Black Rabbit is always delighted to accept abstract expressionist paintings for use in cover designs.
